Virtual university of Pakistan has opened springs admission 2016. VU has two types of admission season. One season is called spring season. The other admission season is called fall season. Deficiency Semester of VU:
There are three types of deficiency semester in VU. All the types have different reason which are briefed below
In first case:
In this case candidates have to go through deficiency semester if they have at least 45% in their graduation degree but not studied required subjects which are mandatory for their admission in VU Pakistan as computer Science , Physics, Economics or Mathematics is not studied by students in their graduation.
In second case:
This is for Non business education which will lead to MBA/MSBA. In this case candidates with their 16 years non business education are required to get 37 credit hours of deficiency semester in order to become eligible for admission towards MBA/MSBA.
In third case:
Third type of deficiency semester is introduces for MSCS program
Zero semester of VU:
Zero semester is introduced by VU for those students have required education mandatory for admission but their marks or CGPA is not according merit. So in this case students have to go through zero semester offered by VU. In this way students after their success in zero semester become eligible to get admission in VU.
